  • Round-up and New Officer Forms Due September 28th!

    Don't forget to turn in all Round-up and New Officer Forms by September 28th. Forms that need to be turned in include: Clover Power, Fab 15, Fantastic 15, Key Award, Achievement Awards, 4-H Graduation, and the Golla Award.

  • Mini Officer Training

    Are you interested in becoming a 4-H Officer at your club level or with the Rock County 4-H Federation? Or are you a younger member that would like to learn more about what each officer does, so that you could apply to be an officer in the future? Everyone is welcome at the Mini-Officer training on Monday, October 2. You will be able to visit different stations to learn about different officers and have fun while doing it! The training will last for one hours from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rock County Extension Office meeting room.

    The 4-H Federation is open to all Rock County 4-H Volunteers and youth sixth grade and up. The groups goal is to unify and strengthen our 4-H program. Items on the agenda include, approval of 2017-2018 budget, Round-up, New officer elections, and more.

  • County-wide Record Judging

    October 4, 2017

    9:00am - 9:00pm

    All records that are chosen at the club level to advance to the county level are due in the office by or before September 28th. County Record Judging is Wednesday, October 4th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the meeting room next to the Extension Office. Each club should have a minimum of TWO people that help for a minimum of TWO hours each, to help determine the award winners for Round-Up. Older youth leaders are also welcome. This is always a BIG job, and more people help it to get done faster. We have an "open house" judging so please come at a time that works for you!

    The Minnesota 4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife program development committee invites adults and youth (9th grade and older) to attend a leader certification training Oct. 7 - 8 in Alexandria. Be prepared for the new 4-H year with trained volunteers - register by Sept. 22!
