  • Once Again in 2017 - Costume Contest
    Join the fun! On Sunday, August 6th at 10:30 a.m. in the show arena we will hold a livestock costume contest open to all 4-H members in all livestock species.
  • Livestock Premise ID's Required for Swine and Sheep
    Recent animal health emergencies in the US and other countries have shown that premises identification is an integral part of effective animal disease control and prevention. In the event of a foreign animal disease outbreak in the US, the NAIS will help animal health officials to trace potentially exposed animals quickly and efficiently in order to reduce the chance of a full-scale disease outbreak.

    The Sibley County 4-H Records are available online at www.extension.umn.edu/county/sibley click on “Downloads”.
  • Attention Livestock Exhibitors
    For the safety and well-being of our fair animals, it is important for us to take good care of them. It is especially important that the public see clean and cared for 4-H animals at the fair
  • Round Robin Showmanship Contest
    The Round Robin Showmanship contest will be held on Sunday afternoon of the fair at 3:00 p.m. in the arena.
  • LQA&E Policy
    All County Fair 4-H livestock exhibitors in beef, dairy, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, meat and dairy goat and lama must have completed a Livestock Quality Assurance and Ethics Workshop.
  • County Fair Entry Day
    Mark your calendar’s for TUESDAY, August 1, 2017! This will be the entry day for NON-LIVESTOCK projects. We will have conference judging from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on TUESDAY again this year.
  • Auction
    The objective of the 4-H Auction is to provide educational interaction between 4-H members and the public that is consistent and fair: allowing buyers to support positive youth development.
  • Gear Up Now for the State Fair
    The Minnesota State Fair runs from Thursday, August 24 through Monday, September 4, 2017. Livestock Encampment dates will be Wednesday, August 23 – Sunday, August 20. Our Non-Livestock General Encampment will be Thursday, August 31 - Saturday, September 2, 2017.
  • Cloverbud Guidelines for County Fair
    Cloverbuds can exhibit in any of the different 4-H project areas at the County Fair (ex: beef, clothing, crafts & fine arts, photography, etc).
