Ambassadors Go Camping

In February the County Ambassadors held their winter retreat. This year we hiked 2 miles into the woods and stayed at a rustic cabin at Camp Tettegouche.  Despite the warmer than usual temperatures we have been having, Tettegouche State Park still had plenty of snow! While there were plenty of snowball fights and winter fun, the Ambassadors got down to business and did a great job planning out their year and defining how the club would function in the coming year. Some activities planned are: a trip to the Minnesota Science Museum, a low ropes course and doing a fund raiser for Heifer International.
The trip was possible due to a grant from the Northland Foundation, written by Ambassador Landon Dahl with input from other ambassadors.
If you think this activity sounds like something you would enjoy doing, maybe you should consider joining the County Ambassador program.  Our next meeting is on March 30th at 4:30 pm in the county office at 2503 Rice lake road.
