Project Bowls

Project Bowls are just around the corner! It is that time of year again when project bowl teams will begin practicing for the regional contests in March. Project bowls are an exciting way for youth to explore a project area. Teams compete in quiz competitions with questions about specific project areas. There are opportunities for teams to form in dairy, dog, general livestock (beef, meat goat, sheep & swine), horse, poultry, rabbit and wildlife. Lama bowl will be offered at the State Bowl. Two team contests are held - Junior (grades 3-8) and Senior (grades 4-12+). Check out the 4-H Project Bowl website at: for rules, resources, and more information on the 2018 bowls. Regional winners advance to the State Project Bowl and state winners in dairy, general livestock, horse, poultry and wildlife go on to national contests.
