Stearns 4-H Youth and Club Leader Record Forms

Project Record Evaluation Guidelines for Stearns County 4-H

The current Stearns County 4-H project records system has three levels.
They include cloverbuds, cloverleafs and clovertrees.
(These titles are just used in the project evaluation system as a way to identify the age levels.)

ALL Stearns County 4-H members MUST complete at least ONE Project Record!!!

Use the information below to determine what is due for each grade level:

Cloverbuds:  (K-2nd grade) This is for those youth enrolled in the cloverbud program.
They will complete the Cloverbud Program Record Sheet.

Cloverleafs: (youth who have completed grades 3-5) They will complete the My Personal Resume sheet. They may use the Youth Development Basic Record Sheet or write or type the project record.
When creating the project record they MUST use categories from the standard record sheet. When completed, including the resume and project record, it should be 3 pages minimum or 4 pages maximum in length.

Clovertrees: (youth who have completed 6th grade and above) They will complete a Resume and a 2-page project record.  This is an opportunity to share what has been important to the 4-H’er in this project area.
Use the combined Writing your Project Record / Creating Your Resume handout as a guide. The completed record, including resume and project report, should be 4 pages long not including pictures.

For all records, pictures may be added, but this is optional. However, it does make judging the records more fun if there are pictures of the project to look at!

NEW in 2018:

Minnesota State 4-H has a new format for record forms.  You are welcome to use this format if you prefer, or use the standard Stearns forms.
With the exception:  All grades 3-13 are also to submit a resume.

These new forms can be found at:

**Records are due to your club leader in August.  They will review your record before submitting to the county office for County Judging Day.**
