4-H Livestock ID Process

In 2014, all 4-H livestock will be identified in 4HOnline.  An explanation of the CENTRAL ID process for market sheep, market goats & rabbits (market beef have already been ID'd centrally) and the SELF ID process for all other livestock, is included in the Animal Science Project ID Information which was sent to all 4-Hers enrolled in livestock projects.  Also included in that mailing was Steele County Livestock Exhibit Information.  Copies of the ID worksheets, lease forms, state show requirements, species specific information sheets, and a Quick Start Guide to the 4HOnline Livestock ID process were also included AND can be found at the 4-H Livestock ID website.

The deadline for identifying your 4-H livestock is May 15.  You will NOT be able to ID any livestock after 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014.  Follow the guidelines and start the process now to meet this deadline.  Call the Extension Office at 507-444-7685 if you have any questions.
