What is on the agenda this month? In May we will be discussing the County Fair and Displays. We will be looking for new ideas to decorate the 4-H Building, to promote 4-H and more!
What is the 4-H Leaders Council? The Leaders Council is the governing board of Stevens County 4-H. It is comprised of youth and adult leaders from the county (anyone is welcome to join us). The council is led by 5 youth leaders, elected each October.
What does the 4-H Leaders Council do? The Leaders Council develops a budget each fall, sets goals for the county,brainstorms new ideas for the county and evaluates current events and helps plan county events. At each meeting there is a focus for the agenda. Under the 4-H Leaders Council is the Animal Science Advisory Board and the Arts, Crafts and Etc. Committee.
When are Leaders Council meetings? The last Monday of the month in September, November, January, March and July. The meetings are at 6 p.m., at the WCROC.
