    Steele County 4-H Ambassadors

    Steele County 4-H Ambassadors help plan fun, educational and promotional activities for county-wide Steele County 4-H programs. If YOU are in 7th grade or older and are interested in this fun opportunity, call the Extension Office at 507-444-7685.
    4-Hers are encouraged to submit their applications by October 15 each year, so they don't miss out on any of the exciting opportunities offered to this group. Regular meetings are held at 6 PM at the Steele County Community Center on the fourth Monday of each month (before the 4-H Club Council meeting).Serving as 4-H Ambassadors in 2008-2009 are:

  • Market Beef ID Deadline - February 15
  • Spring New Member Enrollment Deadline (for softball eligibility)- April 1
  • Livestock ID Deadline (except Mkt Beef, Jr Beef, Jr Dairy Steer, Jr Kids and Mkt Rabbits)- May 15
  • Jr Beef, Jr Dairy Steer & Jr Kid ID Deadline - July 1
  • Final Enrollment Deadline - July 15
  • County Fair Registration Deadline - July 15
  • Market Rabbit ID Deadline - August 1
