Help Wanted!

Volunteers Needed

Wadena County 4-H is seeking MALE CHAPERONE(S) for Livestock Encampment of the Minnesota State Fair (August 23-27).  Your travel, meals, and lodging would be taken care of by Wadena County 4-H in exchange for you helping to keep tabs of the youth that we have making the trip down there.  We have some really great 4-H moms going down that will be a blast to hang out with, so why not enjoy a trip to the great Minnesota get-together?!
Wadena County 4-H is seeking a FEMALE CHAPERONE for general encampment of the Minnesota State Fair (August 31-September 2).  This trip would include hopping on a charter bus on Thursday and riding down with our 4-H’ers and other counties from our region that share our encampment, checking in with and/or hanging out with some awesome young ladies as they take in the judging experience and all there is to see and do at the State Fair, and then riding the bus back on Saturday.
Wadena County 4-H is seeking a MALE CHAPERONE for Northeast 4-H Livestock Show in Brainerd (September 16-17).  Duties will include chaperoning youth during the show on the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds as well as in the hotel/water park in the evening.
The Leader’s Council covers the cost of travel, lodging, fees, and 4-H provided meals for our chaperones because they are doing us such a tremendous service.  Please let Virginia know if you are interested in filling any of these roles as soon as possible! We need to know who is filling these roles ASAP so that we can make sure you are an active and screened volunteer in our system and can get you the appropriate training so that you feel comfortable in your chaperone role.
