Waseca County 4-H Ambassadors

Are you in grades 7 through 13 and have a passion for 4-H? Then come and check out the Waseca County 4-HAmbassador program.

This is a group of 4-H youth who work together to have fun promoting 4-H, planning and organizing events, and teaching younger 4-Hers.

4-H County Ambassadors create opportunities to use their skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork. They represent 4-H through 21st century leadership and global citizenship that contributes meaningfully to their communities.

Participating in a county ambassador program is a fantastic opportunity with great responsibility. County Ambassadors are viewed as role models to younger 4-H youth. Benefits of participating in the program include:
- Increase participant’s knowledge of 4-H
- Improve participants communication skills
- Learn and practice new leadership skills
- Increase public awareness of 4-H

Applications are due to the Extension Office by September 29.
