Apply to be a Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador!

The 2017-18 Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador program will begin accepting applications on April 3. State Ambassadors serve a one-year term (July-June), in a state leadership role representing Minnesota 4-H. The State Ambassadors plan and implement the BLU regional leadership workshops and YELLO!, the state youth leadership conference. They also serve as spokespeople for Minnesota 4-H at various events, including the Minnesota State Fair, and 4-H Foundation events. In addition to attendance at the events, State Ambassadors gather together in person four times per year. Housing, meals, registration fees, and parts of the State Ambassador uniform are provided, as well as training for the role. Additional support may be available if needed.

Youth applicants must currently be in 10th-12th grade (will be in 11th-13th grade during the 2017-18 school year). The application process includes a written application, oral interview, and a presentation.

Additional details will be posted online by April 3. To receive an email when the application is available, or to nominate a potential State Ambassador, fill out this form.
