Minnesota 4-H youth are invited to apply to attend the 2017 Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) experience held in Washington, D.C. This experience starts with a pre-conference on June 24 and returns to Minnesota on July 1, 2017. CWF is a national 4-H program to strengthen youth communication, leadership and citizenship skills on a national level; help youth understand the importance of civic and social responsibilities as they relate to the development of better citizens and leaders; exchange ideas, practice respect and form friendships with other youth from diverse backgrounds; and experience hands-on learning using the historical backdrop of Washington, D.C.
