World Wear Project

2016-2017 Youth Leader Project

Watonwan County Youth Leaders are working with "World Wear Project" to collect good usable shoes to distribute to third world countries.

One of the missions at World Wear Project is to distribute wearable, affordable shoes to third world countries while diverting millions of pounds of refuse from our landfills each year.

They only accept wearable basketball, jogging/running, tennis, court, aerobic, and training shoes. They also accept wearable men's shoes, women's shoes, and kids shoes.  Shoes would include wearable leather and leather look--alike tennis shoes, sports shoes, casual shoes and dress shoes. Wearable means no stains, holes or overly worn. They do not accept canvas, winter boots, or any shoes with metal cleats.

Please contact a 4-H youth leader if you have shoes you would like to donate.
