  • New 4-H Family Night
    Is your family new to Wright County 4-H? Do you want to learn more about what 4-H has to offer? New families, this event is planned especially for you! Please join 4-H volunteers for this fun evening to learn more about what being in 4-H could mean for your family. We will go over upcoming summer events (including Camps & County Fair). There will be fun, hands-on activities for the youth and a parent meeting to help parents focus on the basics of 4-H. Come and see how your family can get involved in Wright County 4-H.
  • 4-5-6 Night
    4-H members in Grades 4 – 6 are invited to join us for 456 Night. The 4-H Ambassadors have plenty of superhero themed games, challenges, experiments, and activities planned for the night. Invite your classmates & neighbors for an exciting night of 4-H fun!
  • Important Deadlines - May 15
    ANIMAL ID’S: All 4-H animal projects must be owned or leased and all ID information submitted on or before May 15 (The exception is market beef and dairy steers, which had a deadline of February 15.) More information can be found online at or in the April issue of the Clover Fourcast. CLUB DUES: Club dues information was mailed out in the April Key Leader newsletter. Please make sure to submit payment by the deadline. MEMBERSHIP: All new members and re-enrolling members must complete 4-H enrollment/reenrollment at by this date to have full eligibility at County Fair.
  • 4-H Federation Meeting
    Policies and financial decisions which affect county programs are determined by the Federation. Some clubs even assign 4-H members to attend and report back to the club. Most Federation meetings begin at 7 p.m. in Wright County Government Center Room 120. The Advisory Council meets at 6:15 p.m. Host Clubs: Wright Explorers, Hanover Honey Bees, and Northern Peak. Showcase Club: Monticello Monarchs
  • LQA&E (Ethics) Training
    All 4-H’ers who plan on participating in animal projects at the State Fair (except horse, dog, and pets) must have current LQA&E certification. By participating in LQA&E training, 4-H’ers learn proper techniques for livestock care. LQA&E certification is valid for three years. Those enrolled in an applicable project, and are due for training should have received a postcard reminder. Please contact the office if you are not sure if your training is current.
