    Project Bowl Practices Kick Off Soon! The second-largest-attended event during the 4-H year is the Project Bowl competition. You can join a project bowl team this fall! Members do NOT need to own an animal or have any prior experience to participate!
  • Exchange Meeting
    October 24, Wright County Government Center, Room C118, Post Federation - Exchange is a great program put on through Wright County 4-H in which 4-H’ers go on a travel excursion to another county or state for about a week to learn more about that place. We hope you will join us for this initial meeting of the year to learn more about the program and consider joining!

    October 24, Wright County Government Center, Room C118, 6:00 PM - We are looking for volunteers interested in helping plan the 2016 Awards Banquet!
  • Wright County 4-H STEM Team
    October 24, Wright County Government Center, Room C118, 7:00 PM - The STEM Team is a group of adult and youth volunteers who are interested in science and want to help increase science literacy among young people. The goal of the committee is to reach new young people to potential & current 4-H members and volunteers.
  • Club Officer Training
    October 17th, Zion Lutheran Church, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM - At this event, officers will learn valuable leadership skills and gain a better understanding of their duties for the new 4-H year. They’ll learn a little more about Wright County 4-H, too, plus-it’s a lot of fun!

County Agriculture Educator

  • Living on the Land, Buffalo, MN - Oct 19, 2016
    Living on the Land will provide you with a solid background in all aspects of land management. The basic agricultural information will help you be a good steward of your land and prepare you for more advanced learning opportunities. The eight-week course, offered by University of Minnesota Extension, begins with goal setting and individual property inventory, then addresses soil, plant, livestock, and water basics. You’ll also have plenty of time for networking and questions.
