  • Rube Goldberg Challenge - New Age Divisions!

    The Rube Goldberg Challenge is an opportunity for 4-H members to learn about engineering design while creating a Rube Goldberg Machine. A Rube Goldberg Machine is an overly complex contraption that does a simple task. The State STEM Team is excited to announce that for the 2018 Rube Goldberg Challenge, there will be a middle school & high school team categories.
  • Citizenship Washington Focus

    Thousands of young people from across the United States come to the National 4-H Youth Conference Center every summer to participate in CWF, a citizenship and leadership program held in Washington, DC. Through a series of speakers, committee work, field trips and social events, participants learn the importance of citizenship and social responsibility. Attendees explore, develop, and refine skills needed to be an outstanding leader on both a local and national level.     Minnesota 4-H is now accepting applications for 2018 summer internships with 4-H programs in counties across the state. The application deadline is open until positions are filled with a preference for candidates who apply by Feb. 15.

  • Project Bowl

    Looking for something fun to do this winter? Join a project bowl team! Project Bowl challenges teams of 3-6 youth in grades 3+ about their knowledge of 4-H project areas such as Dog, Dairy, Horse, Poultry, Rabbit, General Livestock, Lama, or Wildlife. It’s a great way to meet friends and learn more about your favorite project area, not to mention, great preparation for college or an animal science or wildlife related career!
