    Project Bowl Practices Kick Off

The second-largest-attended event during the 4-H year is the Project Bowl competition. Members do NOT need to own an animal or have any prior experience to participate!  It challenges youth in their knowledge of certain 4-H project areas.  If you are interested in helping coach or are a member who would like to join a team, please contact Justin Crowley  for more information. Teams have been formed in the following areas and the details for when/where to meet are also below.  If you’re interested in joining, contact the office, or stop by a meeting to check it out!

Poultry Knowledge Bowl teams are starting to organize and practice. With the first practice, there will be an informational meeting. All are welcome. This meeting will be a good place to learn about how this program works and get to know those involved in the project.

    Apply for National 4-H Conference

2019 National 4-H Conference - not familiar? check out the website, or let's chat!  The conference is a yearly opportunity for 4-H members across the US to gather together and discuss issues that face youth and communities. Participants are involved in researching issues of importance in our communities and then working together with other youth to develop and deliver a presentation to a federal department or agency about what they should do to address that issue, from a youth perspective. It is an incredible experience and an opportunity to empower youth to get involved in making positive changes in their communities!

The input provided will help direct staff, the advisory council, volunteers, and clubs in the coming year(s). We hope youth and adults from across the county come to share your experience, feedback, and general input. More details will be shared soon!
