  • Project Day Spotlight - April 21

    Here's an exciting opportunity for youth to make some fair projects! Project Day Spotlight will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Windom High School (enter through the east doors). Registration will be 15 minutes prior to the first session you're attending. There are eight sessions offered and youth can select three project sessions they would like to participate in. The sessions are FREE thanks to funding from the United Drive!
  • SW MN 4-H Camp at Lake Shetek

    SW 4-H Camp registrations are now open! Youth in grades 3-6 will not want to miss out on this amazing camp adventure. Camp will again be held at Shetek Lutheran Ministries Camp on Lake Shetek. Campers will choose from five exciting tracks. Tracks will fill up fast, so hurry to make sure you get your favorites.

  • Watch your email for 4-H Camp Information!

    Canoeing in the lake, bouncing on the water trampoline, singing songs around the campfire, getting to know new friends … 4-H Camp on Lake Shetek will be here soon! Dates for camp this year are June 18-20; camp is open to ALL youth who have completed 3rd-6th grade. No need to be in a 4-H Club to attend, so invite your friends!
  • Inclement Weather - Check before you drive!

    Inclement Weather Policy for Yellow Medicine County 4-H: Weather concerns are definitely here! Just in case the weather becomes questionable and you are concerned about whether or not an event will take place, listen to KDMA/KKRC/KMGM – and Marshall Radio. Be sure to check your email and call the office if you are unsure about an event.
  • Livestock Ear Tags available in 4-H Office

    Ear tags are available for Beef, Sheep, Swine, and Goats at the 4-H office. Please come and pick them up. Do not wait until the last minute! Some species have new tags and a new tagger this year.

  • Mark your calendars for the 2018 AKSARBEN Stock Show!

    The AKSARBEN Stock Show will be held in Grand Island, Neb. Sept. 27-30, 2018. It's open to 4-H members from Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. In it, 4-H youth exhibit livestock, compete in quiz bowl and judging, apply for scholarships and internships to work with the AKSARBEN Stock Show.
