Add to Calendar 2024-05-05 13:30:00 2024-05-05 16:30:00 4-H Engineering Design Challenge kickoff - Delano Learn more about the 2024 Engineering Design Challenge (EDC) at the kickoff on Sunday, May 5, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Delano United Methodist Church.  EDC is a statewide 4-H event for youth in grades 3 and up to work in teams to design and build a Rube Goldberg™ type machine that solves a two-step task. The goal of the EDC is to use engineering to encourage young people's creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking. Youth will experiment with hands-on engineering activities, solve challenges and learn how to construct a machine while having fun. This event is a fun experience to use your creative building skills and learn more about the 2024 EDC Challenge: Engineering for a Changing Climate. Adults are also invited to attend to learn more about becoming involved in supporting their local team in reaching their EDC goals.  Delano United Methodist Church Delano United Methodist Church Delano United Methodist Church America/Chicago public
