4-H clover Kandiyohi County 4-H Horse Clinic

Tentative sessions may include
Small group: Showmanship, Western, English, Balance, Anatomy, Team Building
Clinicians will provide hands-on learning during the event

Enjoy a pizza party in the evening!

1. Youth must be enrolled in the 4-H Horse Project, Training Project, or Horseless Horse Project to attend.
2. Cloverbuds may attend but cannot bring horses. There will be no special Cloverbud sessions.
3. Clinic is limited to the first 25 horses registered (first come, first serve basis). 
4. There is no limit to participants without horses – Horseless Horse/Cloverbud fee is $25. 
5. Jeans, boots, and helmet are REQUIRED! 
6. Stalls available upon request. Must provide own wood shavings. 
7. Bring a snaffle bit (D-Ring, O-Ring, or Egg Butt) and a lead with a chain for showmanship. 
8. Parents or guardians are required to participate with their 4-Her! 4-Hers will NOT be allowed to attend sessions unless a parent or designated adult is in attendance. (If you have 2 or more children and only 1 parent/guardian is available, that will be permitted. We recommend that you stay with the least skilled child throughout the day.) 

Registration/Check In is Saturday, May 11th from 8-8:30 a.m. ■ Session begins promptly at 9 a.m.

A copy of a CURRENT COGGINS test must be sent with registration or presented upon arrival before unloading.  

Cost

Clinic Fee: $100/person or $225/maximum per family. 

Cloverbud/Horseless Horse Fee: $25/person. 

Early Bird registration deadline is April 26th – Registrations MUST be postmarked by this date to receive the discount. 

Clinic Fee after April 26: Additional $30 per person. 

Stalls available Saturday: $30

Stall Deposit: $50/family. Please include a separate check. This will be returned to you on Saturday with a clean stall check-out. Must provide your own wood shavings

Fees will be the same even if you can only attend part of the day! Parents do NOT need to pay.
