Lego Robotics meets Rube Goldberg!

Come " Build It Up!" this winter with Lego Robotics and Rube Goldberg!

Youth will have the opportunity to build and program with Legos and robots!  Explore Rube Goldberg contraptions that use everyday items in a whimsical and complicated way to interact as a series of chain reaction steps to accomplish a simple task.  Learn critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and problem solving in a non-traditional event and have fun at the same time!  Youth will walk away knowing how to use STEM to solve problems by identifying and researching them, then making and implementing a plan to design a solution. Tours and the opportunity to watch a college robotics competition are all part of this hands-on experience.

this program is open to youth in Grades 3 and older.  There is no cost to attend.

Sessions will be held at the Ortonville Library on Thursdays from 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm. Dates are: January 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8,15, 22 and March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

Please register by January 2nd with the Extension Office at 320-839-6380.
