LEGO Robotics

Students in Red Rock Central, Westbrook Walnut Grove, and Windom have the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through LEGO robotics programming with Cottonwood County 4-H. During monthly one-hour lessons, youth learn about engineering concepts, the scientific method, and cause and effect. In the classroom, students are paired together and introduced to an engineering theme and project that is designed to allow youth to work together, investigate, create, observe, reflect, brainstorm, and modify.
