Indus 4-H Afterschool - Engineer it!

IMAGINE, PLAN, BUILD, TEST AND MODIFY YOUR ORIGINAL ENGINEERING DESIGNS!

Every part of our lives is affected by science and many everyday mysteries can be solved by using the Eight Science and Engineering Practices. Youth will practice engineering skills by exploring boat floating, roller-coasters, egg drops, straw rockets, Rube-Goldberg Machines concepts, and more!

This six week session will include, Mondays:

January 29 – Float it!
February 5 – Jump it!
February 12 – Drop it!
February 26 – Rock-et!
March 5 – Launch it!
March 12 – Build it!


GRADES:  Any youth in 3rd to 8th grade.

TIME:  after school to 5:00 p.m.

LOCATION:  Indus Public School Cafeteria

Youth will be able to Late Bus.  A healthy after school snack will be provided.

COST: $12 per student for all 6 weeks. Make checks payable to NORTH COUNCIL 4-H LEADERS or request a scholarship on the form below.

TO REGISTER: members MUST have completed their 4-H Enrollment at mn.4honline.com before they are able to attend. Please select “Indus Eagles 4-H Afterschool” as your club, and "Engineering Design" as your project area. Or mark below and a paper enrollment packet will be mailed to you.

(Already completed your 2017-2018 Enrollment for robotics this past fall? Just mail in the payment form.)
