4-H Beef ID 2018

Beef Project Families are required to submit their Beef Animal ID information in 4-H Online by midnight on February 15th.

Beef Weigh-In: Saturday, February 3rd from 9:00am-12:00pm/Noon.

Location: Foundation Feeders outside of Spring Grove, MN.

County ID letters contain critically important information specific to each county (including central ID dates and locations if that is part of the county process). These species-specific letters are mailed to members enrolled in each of the animal projects and are also posted on each county's 4-H website.

If you do not receive a county ID letter for your species contact the Houston County Extension Office at 507-725-5807.

Beef Information Sheets (link below) contain important details about ownership, critical dates, ID requirements, state showing information and more. The dog and horse projects use "rule books" instead of information sheets.

ID worksheets (available below) are a helpful tool when collecting data for online entry. ID worksheets are REQUIRED if ID data will be submitted by paper copy to your county Extension staff.

The Minnesota 4-H animal science lease form is required when an eligible animal is leased (market animals cannot be leased).

The lease form requires both the 4H'er and the animal owner signature - and must be submitted when the animal is ID'd.
