Is your club looking for community service ideas?

Through Community Service Projects, 4-Hers develop valuable life skills such as leadership, cooperation and self-awareness.  They then apply these skills to their daily lives and become productive, caring citizens of their communities.        

Please consider giving food to the LqP Food Shelf.  The shelves need to be filled for others to have food in the cupboard.        

The elementary schools in our county are also in need of items for students.  Please contact the school nurses or the office staff at the school.                                                          

  • Dawson Elementary:  gloves, winter pants, socks, undies, sweatpants, jeans, shirts          
  • MMN Elementary:  heavy winter gloves, sweatpants, socks, undies            

County Ideas: 

  • CorkBoard in the Sheep and Swine Barn,
  • Storage Closet in the Sheep and Swine barn,
  • Railing for Gehant Steps,
  • Portable Photo BackDrop for Poultry/Rabbit Shows/Horse Shows,
  • Wall up or Revamp the South Side door in the Exhibit Building for Permanent Closure.
