Project Day Spotlight - April 21

Here's an exciting opportunity for youth to make some fair projects! Project Day Spotlight will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Windom High School (enter through the east doors). Registration will be 15 minutes prior to the first session you're attending. There are eight sessions offered and youth can select three project sessions they would like to participate in. The sessions are FREE thanks to funding from the United Drive!

The sessions offered this year include:

Session 1:   9:00 to 9:55 a.m.

·  Key Sign – (if available please bring a hammer)

·  Bath Bombs

Session 2:   10:00 to 10:55 a.m.

·  Counted Cross Stitch

·  Environmental Science

·  Home Sign

Session 3:   11:00 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.

·  Cloverbuds – Cotton (Gr. K-2)

·  Rockets

·  Leather Bracelets

Cloverbud youth (grades K-2) may attend any sessions in addition to the special Cloverbud session at 11 a.m. as long as an adult accompanies them. Cloverbuds should also mark what t-shirt size they need. Parents of older youth are invited to stay and help too.

Some classes have limited capacity, so please make sure to register early!

This event is open to all youth (4-H and non-4-H) so bring a friend! Non-4-H youth will need to complete a health and liability form prior to attending (parental signature required). Please call 831-4022 or email me at or Teresa at to register. Please RSVP by April 13 so there are enough supplies. See attached flyer/registration form for more information.
