Learn creativity and innovation with the Engineering Design Challenge

PLANT A SEED AND WATER IT

Learn critical thinking, creativity, innovation and problem solving in a non-traditional learning event and have fun at the same time!

ENGINEERING DESIGN CHALLENGE LEVEL 2 FOR YOUTH IN GRADES 9 AND UP
Level 2 machines will incorporate four types of engineering: mechanical (simple machines), chemical, electrical and fluid power.

ENGINEERING DESIGN CHALLENGE LEVEL 1 FOR YOUTH IN GRADES 3 THROUGH 8
Level 1 machines focus on mechanical engineering (simple machines).

4-H ENGINEERING DESIGN CHALLENGE STATE SHOWCASE EVENT
This event will include a conference judging experience, STEM careers, hands-on educational sessions and guest speakers.

WHO CAN ATTEND? All youth in grades 3 and up Teams will be developed and adult volunteers are needed to support increasing participation.

THE FIRST TEAM PRACTICE WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, JUNE 8TH IN THE 4-H BUILDING ON THE WASECA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AT 6:30 PM.
