4-H clover Auction Booster Scholarship Winners

Each year Redwood County 4-H Ribbon Auction Boosters sponsor a $250 scholarship to our 4-H youth.  This year there were five graduating seniors chosen to each receive a $250 scholarship to use towards their future plans.  Funding for the education based scholarship is a direct result of our annual Redwood County 4-H Ribbon Auction held each year at the Redwood County Fair.

The 4-H Ribbon Auction is the highlight of the year for our 4-H livestock participants.  The Ribbon Auction comes with a lot of experiential learning opportunities including communication skills, written communication education, networking skill development, time management, presentation, and so much more!  On behalf of the Redwood County 4-H Ribbon Auction Boosters I would like to thank all those who support our Ribbon Auction.  Funding earned from our auction goes directly to support our youth and their experiential education programs including our 4-H Ribbon Auction Booster Scholarship program.

Scholarship applicants complete an application and a one page essay regarding their time in 4-H.  The five 4-Hers chosen to receive the scholarships are: Ashtyn Altmann, Ethan Carlson, Jayden Carlson, Jackson Guggisberg, and Gina Huhnerkoch.   Congratulations!  And best wishes as you step into the next chapter of your life.

Our 4-H Auction Booster Scholarship winners are:

Ashtyn Altmann graduated from Redwood Valley High School and plans on attending Mankato State University and majoring in Nursing.

Ethan Carlson graduated from Wabasso Public High School and plans on attending Mitchell Technical College majoring in Diesel Power and Ag Power Technology.
