Learn important life skills through safe and educational experiences. You will explore firearms safety and the importance of conserving Minnesota's natural resources. Trained and certified 4-H leaders throughout Minnesota lead this program.
Youth will have an opportunity to learn ethics, sportsmanship, responsibility, leadership skills, and safe storage and handling of firearms and archery equipment.
Disciplines offered:
BB gun (3rd grade & older)
Archery (3rd grade & older)
Air rifle and air pistol (4th grade & older)
.22 rifle and pistol (7th grade & older)
Shotgun (7th grade & older)
Meetings will be held May - September on Mondays at 6:00 pm at the Hibbing Shooting Range on Marksmanship Road.
All equipment is provided.
Cost: Free for all except for the shotgun. There will be a $7 per session fee to cover the cost of clay pigeons.
