Information Technology Team County Web Page Guidelines

The Information Technology (IT) Team wishes to encourage the use of the web-based County Website System, developed by the Information Technology team. The county website system was created so counties can easily maintain their website and always have current information. The web sites are linked into the programs database and extension staff directory database which provides up-to-date information on staff, phone numbers, etc. automatically. Another advantage to this system is that it eliminates the need to use ftp and html editors.

The web-based County Website system can be accessed at http://www.extension.umn.edu/county/admin. A username and password are required to access the system.

Call the IT helpline 612-624-6700 if you need an account set up, forgot your password or have any technical problems. If you have questions about training or using the county website system, please contact Karen Matthes at klm@umn.edu (612/624-4213).
