Hubbard County Rabbit Show

By:  Alexis Booge

The 6th annual Hubbard County 4-H rabbit fun show will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017.  This rabbit show takes place in Akeley at the ARCC (the old school) (210 Pleasant Ave). Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with the show beginning at noon.  Before the show there will be a rabbit clinic to help teach 4-Hers about showing and caring for rabbits.  Anyone is welcome to attend the show, but you must be a 4-Her to participate in the actual showing of the rabbits.  During the show there will be a silent auction going on that has an assortment of awesome prizes that you could get.  There will even be rabbits on the silent auction.  All the proceeds made will go to help support the Hubbard County 4-H livestock program which will be used to fund awards, educational programs and many other things for the livestock participants.  This show is a great opportunity for 4-Hers to learn about showing rabbits and knowing what you are doing with your rabbit.  This is also a great chance to purchase some really good rabbits from many great breeders that come to this show to sell bunnies to 4-H youth.
