Plan to attend the 2018 Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) trip to Washington DC!

Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is an educational conference for high school youth, Grades 9-12, to learn about the legislative branch of the United States government and build leadership and civid engagement skills.

Held at the National 4-H conference Center near Washington, D.C., participants will engage in workshops and simulations, tour historical landmarks, and meet with Minnesota's congressional offices, all while meeting youth from across Minnesota and the U.S.

Minnesota participants (called a delegation) will travel to Washington, DC, June 23-30, 2018.

Roseau County 4-H Leader's Council will reward and support up to 4 delegate trips to CWF.  Roseau County 4-H requires that the delegates must have been a member of RC 4-H  for a minimum of 2 years, complete the applications process including writing an essay, paying the nonrefundable $200 down payment deposit and agreeing to the payment schedule.  Currently, Roseau County 4-H Leaders Council has designated up to $800 to each of the four awarded delegates to attend this event.  The cost of the experience is $1600 and can be paid in installments to the Roseau County 4-H Leaders Council by May 31.
