Get Hooked on 4-H - Fishing Event

The Northern Lights 4-H Club is starting the new 4-H Club year off  by hosting a Hooked on 4-H Fishing event on Sunday, October 15  at the Northome School from 1 to 3:30 and followed by family fishing off the Dora Lake Bridge.

The day's agenda includes:

1:00 - Eating Sloppy Joe lunch

1:30 - Rotating through learning stations

  • Identifying MN Fish
  • Fishing Safety
  • Bait & Tackle
  • Fish Sensory

3:30 - Family fishing off the Dora Lake Bridge


To help us be prepared, please go to and answer a few registration questions for each attendee.

This event is open to all Koochiching County 4-H members and their families. Youth members in grades K-2 must be accompanied by a responsible adults at all times.

And don't forget each youth attendee must complete their 4-H Enrollment, Online enrollment at  at any the before the event or in person on paper forms just before the event begins.
