    Have you heard of the Science of Agriculture Challenge? Mark your calendars for our kick-off meeting.

    Have you heard of the Science of Agriculture Challenge? The Minnesota 4-H Science of Agriculture Challenge is a program where 4-H youth work on teams of 2 - 5 to identify an agricultural issue in their communities and come up with ideas for a solution. We'd like to invite you to attend our kick-off meeting on Monday, December 3rd to learn more.

    2018 Regional Winter Outing

    Join families from Freeborn, Mower, Rice, Steele and Waseca counties on our annual Regional Winter Outing! Our annual outing will begin with a trip to the Old Log Theatre to watch the production of “Winnie the Pooh”. We will stop at the Burnsville Center for lunch. The healthy living activity for the afternoon will be AirMaxx Trampoline Park!

    Ambassador Holiday Bowling Party

    Mower County Ambassadors will be having a holiday bowling party in December! It will be held at the bowling alley in Austin on Sunday, December 2nd, 4:30 - 6 pm. We will have a brief meeting at 4:30 pm at the bowling alley. Topics will include signing up for t-shirt sizes, signing up for January Cloverbud meeting and a few other brief topics.

    January Cloverbud Adventure: Science + Candy = STEM Science Fun

    What do you get when you add candy and science together? STEM Science Fun! Cloverbuds are invited to join us for a morning learning about science through candy. Our curriculum is designed to help develop foundational skills in science and engineering (observation, questioning, classifying and communicating). We may even get to eat a piece of candy or two!

    December Cloverbud Adventure: A Holiday Extravaganza!

    Youth Grades K-2 are invited to join us for a Holiday Extravaganza Cloverbud adventure. We will learn all about Christmas trees, as well as many other fun holiday games and activities! You won’t want to miss this fun adventure! Bring a friend too!

    4-H clubs: Apply for an AMC 4-H Community Leadership Award

    The Association for Minnesota Counties (AMC) has released the award application for the 2019 AMC 4-H Community Leadership Awards. These awards recognize community leadership projects by a Minnesota 4-H club during the past year. Two 4-H club projects will be selected to receive awards of $500 in recognition for their contributions and service to their communities. Find out if your club meets the award criteria and apply by Jan. 3!

    Complete your 2018-2019 4-H enrollment

    4-H enrollment ensures that 4-H families receive critical 4-H communications - it is required for 4-H participation and is easy to do. Has your family enrolled yet? If not, please take a few minutes to enroll and/or update your family's information.
