Camp Counselor Applications

Be a Camp Counselor for Summer Camp 2017!
Being a camp counselor for 4-H camp is a great way to develop leadership skills, learn more about your strengths, make new friends, learn new skills and have a lot of fun!  You will have the responsibilities of supervising youth, facilitating camp activities, and creating a fun and supportive environment for youth!  Applications are available at the County Extension Office, on the county 4-H website, or apply online at the following link:

Youth Camp Patterson
Youth camp will once again be at Camp Patterson on beautiful Lake Washington for youth who have completed grades 3-6. Counselors must have completed 9th grade by summer of 2017 to be eligible for youth camp.

Session 1 - June 19-21: Freeborn, Mower, Rice, Steele, Waseca
Session 2 - June 21-23: Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Sibley

Teen Leadership Camp at Camp Omega!!!!
The 2017 Teen Leadership Camp will be held at Camp Omega near Waterville for youth who have completed grades 6-8.  Counselors will work alongside Camp Omega staff as well as lead individual sessions.  You can find more information about Camp Omega at
Counselors must have completed 10th grade by summer of 2017 to be eligible for Teen Leadership Camp.

Camp Dates:  June 23-25, 2017 – Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Freeborn, Le Sueur, Mower, Nicollet, Rice, Sibley, Steele and Waseca counties.
