Wildlife Project Bowl teams are forming

Did you know that there are 50 different types of mosquitoes in Minnesota? Do you know what the state bird is? Join us to learn more about the wildlife and their habitats in our area and throughout the state by joining the Wildlife Project Bowl Team! Project Bowl is just like Knowledge Bowl in your local school. Learn how to work as a team and buzz in with that answer! We have fun ways of learning through Kahoots, the 4-H Wildlife curriculum, and conservation magazines.

Practices sessions will be held at the Ortonville Library from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on the following Thursdays:

  • January 10, 17, 24, 31
  • February 7, 14, 21, 28.

The regional project bowl competition is on March 2nd in Foley. If the team qualifies for state, the next practices are March 14, 21, and 28. The Minnesota 4-H State Project Bowl is April 6th in Sauk Rapids.

Not sure if you want to join? Come check out one of the first two sessions, then you can decide!
