Livestock Clinic: Sunday April 8th (2-4pm)

Come learn about having and showing Livestock for 4-H!

We will cover a variety of topics, including:

  • ID & paperwork requirements
  • how to choose an animal for the fair
  • proper care techniques (at home and the Fair)
  • training your animal
  • what to expect at a 4-H Livestock show

Come with any questions you have and be ready to learn from area experts:

  • Rabbit & Poultry - Vikki Surerus
  • Goats - Katie Saturbak
  • Sheep - Brady Carter

NOTE: If you haven't ear tagged or IDed your animals yet, 4-H staff will be present to hand out ear tags and answer questions about the ID process.
Please dress appropriately for the weather; sessions will take place both indoors and outdoors depending on the species and specific topics covered.
