    Judging 4-H Exhibits at Minnesota County Fairs
    Minnesota 4-H depends on the skills, talents and dedication of hundreds of adults who judge 4-H projects at county fairs across Minnesota. In support of 4-H judges, Minnesota 4-H offers online training, toolkit resources and more. To learn more, or if interested in becoming a 4-H judge, visit
    Cloverbud & Project Workshop Day
    All Cloverbuds (and non 4-H friends grades K-3) are welcome to attend an afternoon of fun with the Wright County 4-H Ambassadors. Youth in grades 3+ can attend Project Workshop Day to participate in hands-on workshop related to 4-H project areas. 
    Engineering Design Challenge (formerly known as Rube Goldberg) – 2019 Challenge Coming Feb 4th!
    The Engineering Design Challenge (EDC) is an opportunity for 4-H members to learn about engineering by working in teams while creating a Rube Goldberg type machine.  A Rube Goldberg machine is an overly complex machine that does a simple task.

    Minnesota 4-H state director Jennifer Skuza encourages us to discover and pursue what makes us flow.
    Attend spring 2019 SS&W Leader Certification Training
    4-H SS&W Leader Certification Trainings will be held April 6-7 in Isanti County and April 27-28 in Jordan. These trainings are designed for adults and youth that lead or would like to lead training in shooting sports, wildlife, or ATV safety. Deadlines for registering for the trainings are March 22 and April 12. Disciplines fill quickly, so make sure registration forms are sent in early!
    Communicate winter weather cancellation plans
    Review and communicate winter weather cancellation plans of 4-H programs, activities and outings to help ensure the safety of 4-H members and families during the winter months.
    Engineering Design Challenge task announcement
    The 2019 Engineering Design Challenge task and handbook will soon be posted on the Engineering Design Challenge website. While you're waiting, get your team going by working on activities in the Engineering Design Challenge learning guide.
    Project Workshop Day—Volunteers Needed
    Volunteers (adult & youth leaders) are needed to help teach sessions at the Project Workshop Day on Sunday, March 10 from 1-4pm.  Do you have a hobby or talent you'd like to share with 4-H members? Then we need  you! Workshop sessions will be approx. 45 minutes in length and include hands-on activities. Need an idea? The office has project kits that you can use to teach a session. All the supplies are included and no experience is necessary. Contact Kelly ( at the Extension Office if you are interested in helping.
