4-H clover Livestock Quality Assurance Training options

Livestock Quality Assurance Training Options: Reminder to all youth that are hoping to participate as a state fair 4-H Minnesota livestock exhibitor (Gr. 6 and above) in beef, dairy, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, meat goat and dairy goat must complete livestock quality assurance training prior to county fair. Visit the Minnesota 4-H website for more LQAE details.

Training deadline for Roseau County 4-H is June 15. Two training options are available.

 1.  A three-hour in-person workshop (LQAE) including ethics. Valid for three years. 

 2A one-hour online training visit, Youth for the quality care of animals (YQCA)  for more details. Valid for one year. 

*A list of 4-Hers that have current 2024 training was emailed to all families. If you are not on the list, YOU NEED to complete LQAE in 2024 to be State Fair eligible. Training deadline for Roseau County is June 15, which means you must have the training completed and reported to us by June 15, 2024.
