4-H

  • Non Member Registration for Events
Here's where you'll find information on signing up for an event as a non 4-H member.
  • Project Workshop Day—Volunteers Needed
Volunteers (adult & youth leaders) are needed to help teach sessions at the Project Workshop Day on Sunday, March 11 from 1-4pm. Do you have a hobby or talent you'd like to share with 4-H members? Then we need you! Workshop sessions will be approx. 45 minutes in length and include hands-on activities. Need an idea? The office has project kits that you can use to teach a session. All the supplies are included and no experience is necessary. Contact Kelly at the Extension Office if you are interested in helping.
  • Rube Goldberg Challenge - New Age Divisions!
The Rube Goldberg Challenge is an opportunity for 4-H members to learn about engineering design while creating a Rube Goldberg Machine. A Rube Goldberg Machine is an overly complex contraption that does a simple task. The State STEM Team is excited to announce that for the 2018 Rube Goldberg Challenge, there will be a middle school & high school team categories.
  • Citizenship Washington Focus
Thousands of young people from across the United States come to the National 4-H Youth Conference Center every summer to participate in CWF, a citizenship and leadership program held in Washington, DC. Through a series of speakers, committee work, field trips and social events, participants learn the importance of citizenship and social responsibility. Attendees explore, develop, and refine skills needed to be an outstanding leader on both a local and national level. • Judging 4-H Exhibits at Minnesota County Fairs
Minnesota 4-H depends on the skills, talents and dedication of hundreds of adults who judge 4-H projects at county fairs across Minnesota. In support of 4-H judges, Minnesota 4-H offers online training, toolkit resources and more. To learn more, or if interested in becoming a 4-H judge, visit www.4-H.umn.edu/county-fair/judges/.
